Safar 1439 AH begins 10/21/2017

The Crescent Moon to commence the month of  Safar 1439 AH was looked for after the sunset on Friday, 20th October 2017 and WAS SIGHTED by CHC Ulama members in the Northeast region.

The Central Hilal Committee of North America accepted these report(s) and has declared, Saturday, October 21st, 2017, the 1st day of Safar 1439 AH.
